About the Artist

Thank you for visiting jkmunafo.com. Please take time to look at the many different works displayed here. All that you see has been carefully made by Jenik in her studio on Martha’s Vineyard, MA.

Jenik studied at Bennington College where she received a B.A. in painting and ceramics. After graduating she traveled to South America where she lived in Ecuador for almost two years.

Since her time abroad Jenik has established a studio and works with many different mediums such as clay, oil paint, block prints and collage. She enjoys the surprises and challenges such a variety of has to offer.

Jenik and her husband Hocine had a baby girl in May 2007 named Malika and another one in May 2009. Her focus has shifted a bit to care for her children but she is still hoping making art soon!
